Q: Where should I drop off my rent?

Q: When is my rent due? What time?
A: Rent is due on the 1st of each month by 4pm. If rent is mailed and postmarked no later than the 1st of the month it will be considered on time. Drop boxes are picked up at that time each month.
Q: What is your late payment policy?
A: We encourage your payment before the 1st of the month at 4 pm, however we understand that you may need to make a late payment. If payment is not received by 4 pm on the first day of each month it is considered late and you may not qualify for a discount. If we have not received your payment by the 7th of the month there is an additional fee. We appreciate your cooperation in paying your rent on time however we do understand that late payments do happen. Please consult our accounts receivable department if you plan on making a late payment.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: Rent can be paid by check, money order, or credit card until the 10th of the month. After the 10th of the month no personal checks are accepted.
Note: there is a $15 fee if paying by credit card.
Q: Who do I make my check out to?
A: Any rent payment must be made payable directly to the property of which you reside. For example, if you rent at College view, make your check out to College view It is crucial that any payment sent in to us is made out correctly and also indicates who it is for, and what building and apartment number you reside at in the memo spot.
Q: If the 1st of the month falls on a weekend or holiday is my rent still due?
A: Yes. Rent is always due on the 1st of the month regardless of the day of the week it happens to fall on.
Q: If my check is dated for the 1st is it on time?
A: Payments are only on time if received or postmarked by the 1st of the month at 4pm.
Q: Can my roommates and I pay with different checks?
A: Roommates are allowed to pay with different checks, however the payments must together equal the full rent amount due.
Q: I got a notice in the mail but I mailed my rent. Why?
A: If you receive a notice, as of the date of the notice your rent has not been received. Please contact Accounts Receivable and advise the date your payment was sent, method of payment and check/money order number.
Q: Can I postdate a check?
A: It is expected that once a payment is received it can be immediately deposited. Funds must be available upon issuing payment.
Q: I can't pay rent on time. What do I do?
A: If for any reason your rent is not able to be paid by the 1st of the month you must call Accounts Receivable to make satisfactory arrangements. Please remember that any arrangement proposed is subject to management approval.
